Welcome to St. James Academy CBSE School
Tiruchirappalli Diocese, the pioneer in Education, through its mission, throughout the entire Southern Region of Tamil Nadu, ever since its inception in the year 1885, now ventures into yet another heights in the field of Education through this new educational institution christened, “ST. JAMES ACADEMY (SJA)” WITH CBSE CURRICULUM. For the benefit of the less privileged young minds by providing them the holistic development of the future technocrats, scientists, administrators of India.
History
St James Academy was established in the year 2016 with 385 Students from Junior Kindergarten to Class V. But today it has increased to stunning strength of 1951. Thanks to the quality of education it renders to the society. The School is recognized by the State Government of Tamil Nadu and affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. St. James Academy is a co-educational school offering classes from Junior Kindergarten to class XII. We foster Academic Excellence in a progressive school environment which is safe and caring. We offer our students opportunity to develop creative energy, enterprising spirits, physical skills, notion of justice, equality and public morality.

Clubs
School clubs create small communities. Club activities help students to develop sense of unity and teamwork, learning how to work with others in reaching the same goals. They learn from each other. They help students to develop social skills.

Classroom
Classroom is a place where the student and teacher spend a considerable amount of time sharing their experiences and making it a place for knowledge transfer.
Biology Lab
The school has a well equipped labs Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Teachers teach the lessons by doing experiments.
Chemistry Lab
The school chemistry lab is a hands-on learning environment where students explore chemical reactions, study properties of matter, and practice safe laboratory techniques.
